Known Connection Issues

Monarch connects to thousands of financial institutions. We will always display the connection status of each financial institution on your Accounts page. Most connection issues resolve themselves within a day. So, if you see an error, it's helpful to come back a few hours later and try again. As a workaround you can also add it as a Manual Account to track your balance so that your net worth is more accurate.

 

Here is a list of connection issues we're currently aware of and working on long term solutions. (last updated November 30, 2020)

 

Capital One - All accounts. Unfortunately this is a persistent issue and we do not have an ETA when the connection will be working again.

 

Charles Schwab - New accounts cannot be added. Already connected accounts are not updating.

 

Barclaycard - Transactions are duplicated multiple times

 

American Express - All accounts - transaction updates are days behind

 

Wells Fargo - MFA accounts

 

Robinhood - MFA accounts need to connected every time, *Sep 1 Some accounts are showing an incorrect balance

 

Fidelity - Institutional Asset Management accounts, MFA accounts of any type are not supported

 

Ally - Some customers are not receiving their MFA code via text message.

 

Nationwide Financial 401k - All accounts

 

Franklin Templeton Investments - All accounts

 

Earnest - All accounts

 

Transamerica - All accounts

 

Cadence Bank - All accounts

 

SoFi - *Sep 1, 2020 Connection is down temporarily. MFA Accounts are not supported.

 

HSBC - All accounts

 

UBS - Errors when adding new accounts

 

Volvo Car Financial Services - some account balances are returning as $0

 

Citi - MFA Accounts

 

TIAA - new accounts - shows as an invalid credentials error when login is correct

 

PNC - Home Equity Accounts are incorrectly returning a $0 balance

 

Target REDcard - New accounts cannot be added. Already connected accounts do not update.

 

ADP Retirement Services - shows as an invalid credentials error when login is correct. Account updates are days behind.

 

Columbia Threadneedle - some previously connected accounts are not able to be reconnected. Adding new accounts is not impacted.

 

Star One Credit Union - All accounts

 

USAA - Transactions are duplicated many times over

 

Bank of the West BNP Paribas - Loans report a $0 balance

 

M1 - New accounts cannot be added

 

Connect Your Care - New accounts cannot be added

 

Paypal - The PayPal Extras Mastercard issued by Synchrony Bank is not supported. Some new accounts cannot be added and disconnected accounts cannot be re-connected

 

Wealthfront - Wealthfront Cash accounts are unable to pull in debit transactions properly

 

Massmutual - new accounts cannot be added

 

Congressional Federal Credit Union - accounts are not updating with new transaction and balance information

 

Acorns - returning a zero balance for IRA accounts

 

Navient - Some loan accounts are missing.

 

Cenlar - Accounts have not updated since Sep 30, 2020. 

 

Webster Bank - shows as an invalid credentials error when login is correct

 

Edward Jones - new accounts cannot be added

 

BPAS Participant Retirement Account - New accounts cannot be added.

 

Michigan State University Federal Credit Union - Some customers with MFA turned on are not able to connect their accounts.

 

Northwestern Mutual - This institution is no longer currently supported.

 

Montecito Bank & Trust - Customers with MFA are not able to connect their accounts.

 

Amazon Store Card - Some accounts are not able to be connected, a security code is sent, but there is no field to enter the security code. 

 

Park Avenue Securities - Accounts are not updating.

 

D.A. Davidson & Co. - Client Access - Balances are incorrect.

 

John Hancock - MyLifeNow - New accounts cannot be added.

Transamerica Retirement Solutions(My TRSRetire) - Participant - Customers with MFA enabled are not able to connect their accounts.

 

Fundrise - Not all available accounts are being returned when a new Fundrise account is connected to Monarch, this can look like one or more accounts is missing.
