Is my information safe in Monarch?

Our policy is to keep your information private. That means we do not share data with advertisers or sell your information to third parties. For the limited data we do collect, Monarch employs industry leading security practices, as do our data providers.

Primarily, we use a service provider, called Plaid, to connect to your bank. Monarch does not store your login credentials and is only granted a read-only copy of your financial data from Plaid. Plaid has industry leading security practices, including enforcing role-based access controls at each layer of infrastructure, maintaining a SOC 2 Type II report, API traffic controls and one of the strongest bug bounty programs in the industry.

You can learn more about their security practices here: https://plaid.com/security/

Money cannot be moved in or out of your bank accounts from within Monarch.
